Why we ask for your ID number

It is the one thing that identifies you uniquely for certification and for job applications, and it stops two accounts being created for the same person. It is stored encrypted, and everywhere except your own profile it is shown as ******1234. See our Privacy Policy and POPIA notice.

What we do with your details

Your password is stored as a one-way hash. Nobody, including us, can read it back.
Documents you upload are kept outside the public web directory and served only to you or to authorised staff.
We never sell your personal information and we do not share it for marketing.
An e-mail address is optional, and you can remove it later.

You must be 16 or older

And the ID number must be your own. Please use your real details — we cannot do certification or job applications with anybody else’s.
