A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores on your device so it can recognise you when you come back, or while you move between pages. This page lists every cookie moolaservices.co.za sets, and nothing else.

We only use essential cookies

Version 1 of moolaservices.co.za sets no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies at all. Every cookie below is essential to making the site work, and none of them are set until you have made a choice in our cookie banner, other than the choice itself.

Session cookies, not tracking cookies

All three cookies below are what is sometimes called "session" or "strictly necessary" cookies: they exist to make a specific feature of the site work for you, not to build a profile of you or follow you around the web. None of them are shared with any third party, and moolaservices.co.za does not embed any third-party widget, video or social-media button that would set its own cookie on your device.

The cookies we set

ms_sid
Keeps you logged in while you use your account or the admin console. Essential. httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Expires after 72 hours.
ms_csrf
A security token that proves a form was submitted from this site, and not from somewhere else pretending to be it. Essential. Readable by the page’s own script. Expires after 72 hours.
ms_cookie_choice
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner does not ask you again on every visit. Essential. Stored for 12 months.

What we do not use

  • No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics or similar).
  • No advertising or marketing cookies.
  • No third-party tracking or cross-site cookies.

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in a future version of the site, we will update this policy and our cookie banner first, and ask for your consent before setting them.

Before you choose

Nothing non-essential is set before you answer

The first time you visit moolaservices.co.za, we show a banner asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies, with a link back to this page. We do not set any non-essential cookie before you answer, and because version 1 of the site has none to set anyway, your answer only affects whether we remember that you were asked.

Changing your choice

Once you have answered the banner, we store that choice in the ms_cookie_choice cookie so we do not ask again. If you want to be asked again, for example after rejecting by mistake, clear this site's cookies and other site data in your browser and reload the page; the banner will reappear.

Why we still ask

Even though version 1 of moolaservices.co.za has no analytics or marketing cookies to ask permission for, we show the banner and keep this policy up to date because the law requires us to be upfront about every cookie we do set, essential or not, and because it is the honest way to run a website. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Blocking cookies in your browser

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, usually under a heading like Privacy, Security or Site settings. Blocking the ms_sid cookie will stop you staying logged in, and blocking ms_csrf may stop forms, including login, registration and the contact form, from submitting correctly, because we cannot then confirm the form came from our own site.
