What a membership is not
We would rather you knew this before you join than after. A membership buys you answers about the law. It does not buy you a lawyer.

- Memberships do not cover any such professional’s fees, and Moola Services does not benefit from those fees.
- A membership is not legal representation, and we do not act for you in any matter.
If you need more than a query
Book a Know Your Rights consultation at R500 per hour, or ask for legal advice on a single question at R60. Those are separate services and are not part of any membership.

Our staff are not lawyers. We give general information about the law. Where you need a lawyer we will tell you, and we may refer you to an independent one — we take no part in, no commission from and no benefit from their fees, and a referral is not an endorsement or a guarantee. How the monthly payment works
There is no card on file and nothing is taken automatically. You order a membership like any other service, pay by EFT or in person quoting your order reference, and the month starts once we confirm the payment.
- One payment buys one month. Your account shows the date it is paid until.
- Pay again before that date and the new month is added to the end of the current one, so you never lose days you have paid for.
- Let it lapse and nothing bad happens — your membership simply goes quiet until you pay again. There is no penalty and no reconnection fee.
- There is no contract and no notice period. Stop whenever you like.
